Snow Day!!
Overnight on the 29th/30th, the Lower Mainland received a serious dump of snow, adding to what was already on the ground. It’s a winter wonderland!
Clouds peeling back
Friday morning I had a site review at a project of mine in Vancouver. The rain had been relentless all morning up until the point I left the office. Half way to site, the rain stopped and the clouds peeled back to give us a few hours break.

Yesterday morning’s commute featured an unexpected treat, a terrific sunrise! I was fortunate to be on a skytrain with a clean back window. Grabbed a seqence of shots between Broadway and Main skytrain stations.

Walked the outer loop of Central Park yesterday afternoon. Lots of chubby squirrels came to visit!
Taking Shape
The new Burnaby sports complex is taking shape. Amongst its facilities, two NHL sized ice rinks. I haven’t had skates on my feet for at least 35 years, might just have to lace up when this facility comes online.
